Quintrix F is flat, so reflection from windows and other areas around the room
is minimal. Images remain clean and crisp, free from reflection and distortion.
Additionally, all pictures are sharp, have precise focus and excellent
brightness and contrast levels. The Quintrix F picture tube is made up from
five elements: Faceplate, Super Shadow Mask, Electron Gun, Deflection Yoke and
Super Pigment Phosphor. Super Shadow Mask The picture performance is further enhanced
with the Super Shadow Mask. The innovative SSM is stretched under optimum
vertical tension to improve the overall picture performance. By increasing the
pitch aperture ratio of the mask it allows more beam current to pass through
with less loss of energy, and this results in higher brightness. DQ-DAF DQ-DAF provides pin sharp images even at
the very edges of the screen. Specifically developed for widescreen televisions,
it is positioned so that the electron beam can pass through the slotted
aperture of the shadow mask. The electron beam strikes the correct colour
phosphor on the inside of the glass faceplate causing visible light to come
from this point source. The tube also features a coma corrected
deflection yoke which improves beam scanning accuracy the benefit can be seen
when watching Teletext pages where accurate spot landing and colour
registration is important. Super Pigment Phosphor
Technology Super Pigment Phosphor produces strong,
rich shades of colour. It works by instantly absorbing light instead of
reflecting it back from the screen, preventing glare whilst maximising contrast
levels. Additionally, the ultra transparent screen glass enhances brightness,
