6-speed gearbox oil change

·        Undo the drain plug (Fig.1) under the gearbox with an 8mm allen key and drain.

·        Refit drain plug.

·        Remove the filler vent (Fig.2) completely located at the top of the gearbox. It has a Grey plastic cover on it. Unscrew with a spanner/socket set.

·        Remove the level check plug (Fig.3) on the passenger's side, behind the road wheel.

·        Fill with 1.9L of Vauxhall or Mobilube 1 synthetic gear oil (Fig.4), through the filler vent using a funnel.

·        When the oil comes out of the level check plug hole, stop filling and replace check plug.

·        Replace filler/vent.
